That is a huge cut, I would test the waters, with a very small cut and see how you do.

WinnieDog has your back! 25% is considered a very large cut. Definitely get some support either with the Valium support group, or the direct tapering board. You're not substituting any more; this board is for crossover support.

The beauty of a V crossover is that I think V comes in 2mg and maybe even 1mg tablets. With a decent aluminum pill splitter to cut quarter tablets, you can take 0.5mg reductions from 2mg tablets, and 0.25mg reductions from 1mg tablets. These are considered much safer reductions than 1mg at a time when you're at 4mg/day.

Perhaps more important are you stable yet? Fully functional? Eating, sleeping and gently exercising?
