Hey everyone,

So the other day I was I. A horrid ghastly wave.  I took hold of myself. Forced myself to eat some green vegetables & drink water.  & then I felt like a true crazy person & stated saying stuff to myself. Affirmations that I’m sure helped me to get me out of the hell I was in.

So I was thinking of stating this topic so we can list affirmations we say to ourselves that help dig us out of the Trenches we sometimes find ourselves in. Those places we don’t wanna be in & what words can help dig us out of them.

Here’s some of mine:

“I am safe & secure”
“I’m healing, I’m moving towards being healed”
“This is only a feeling & feelings can’t hurt me”
“It’s ok, I am getting through this, a window is on its way, this wave will be over soon”
“I am brave, I am courageous, I am strong, I can do this”
“I am resilient, I can get through this”

I give myself a cuddle and say, ur okay. It sounds wierd but my therapist suggested it. Some days I need a hug and there’s no one to give u one so just give urself one x
