Does normal sleep return for most?

Hi All,

I just completed a very long slow taper (26 months) off of lorazepam 3 weeks ago. My sleep has improved from terrible to bad, so it's getting better. I wake up completely after each and every sleep cycle and am usually awake from 3-4 am every night.

Do most of us improve over time?

Thanks!

Mine goes back and forth .. especially with any stress it gets rough . I do alot of sleep hygiene too but lately my therapist has been on me to either go back to hemp or indica M. I am 58 and worn out .

I had a 5 year taper I was so ill , but was on a giant amount of klonopin (8mgs daily ) not given for sleep though , for pain /muscle relaxer replacement for 14 years ( oh yay )  so everyone will be a little different . I am 2.25 years since I jumped .

Most peoples gets better with time .

Yes, sleep improves for almost everyone but it takes time and more time.  Even though you did a very slow taper, it will still probably take more time than you'd like for sleep to even out?

Yes, it will improve!

Especially you are already getting SOME sleep now

It will eventually increase to longer stretches!
