Poor tear quality

Hi Buddies, I went to the ophthalmologist because I've been having problems with dry eye.

I never experienced this before in my life and it's something that appeared in the taper...even though I am finished this is my worst symptom. I was taking antihistaminics as directed by my GP because I was having rashes everywhere and "allergies" (I've always had allergies but this was something ELSE)

I think the antihistaminics worsened everything with my eyes lately, I suspended them and I am ok.

I am currently on restasis (2 to 3 weeks) and I know it will take time to do it's effect, but it's ok. What he said it's that my tear quality is very poor, and to my surprise my meibomian glands are working normally. I am doing the autologous serum tears and will see what happens.

I wanted to ask if anyone had this issue before and if it resolved or didn't.
