[St...]
I cannot fall asleep at all during my long waves. It's like being on methamphetamine. Wired. I can fall asleep easily in the windows which are few and far between. The anxiety in my waves is brutal also. The insomnia added to the anxiety is excruciating. [Th...]
What you are experiencing at this very early point in your healing and recovery is "normal." I was wired all the time and never felt sleepy or tired, even if I did not get any sleep for 2, 3 or 4 days in a row! You should be thankful you're getting windows at around 2 months off. Anxiety only adds to symptoms and sleep issues and then not sleeping makes the anxiety worse. It's a vicious circle. But, it does get better. Time and only Time is the healer!
