Diazepam and nexium

Because I take 40mg of nexium daily, is diazepam off the table for me as a cross over choice?

Or do I just need to switch to a different ppi like Prevacid?

I took pantoprazole every day for years while tapering with valium.  I also took it while taking xanax and klonopin.

Lunk, I took them both together on my valium taper. No problems.

Not everyone will be affected by poor or extensive cyp2c19 metabolizing, but it’s well documented that it exists.  Taking some PPI’s with Valium may increase blood serum levels of V  by as much as 13%.  As with everything, Peoples genetics vary and peoples experiences will vary but good to have knowledge. A good question to run by your prescribed....
