How long on average would it take to taper off 7.5mg of diazepam?  I know it varies per person, but on average how long would it take.  If I break 7.5mg into two doses - and cut 5% each week, it would take 67 weeks.  Is this too slow?

I'm on 5mg of diazepam and plan on getting off it in about four months by cutting a half mg every 2-3 weeks. The percentage thing gets a little funky when you get down to lower doses. At some point you have to bite the bullet and go for it.
