There have been some studies on this, and not all of the alcohol boils off.  But a lot of it does, and 2 oz for 3 people probably wouldn't adversely affect you anyway.

I wouldn't worry about that quantity either but I do think most of the alc. burns of. It's going to be rare for alcohol to be dangerous at a sip. If you're in shocking condition, I would definitely not risk it just for alcohol. I am so sure that's not dangerous for the vast majority of folk. Hope you enjoy it if you have it. Cooking is a great therapy I find.
