Weight gain and inability to lose weight

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone ,

4 months off a slow taper. I had gained weight throughout my taper and now 4 months off it is impossible to lose it.

Has this happened to anyone? Can anyone comment as to when it will be easier to lose?

Have tried fasting, low carb , high carb etc.

I can’t lose the weight. It just won’t budge!

I am feeling ok. Waves here and there. I guess manageable. I was walking daily all the way through taper and through most of the last few months until recently because of cold weather.

I just feel disheartened because I used to be able to lose weight more easily.

I really feel that it is impossible in withdrawal.

It sounds like there are a few things going on, can't get out to walk and things are probably shut down where you live so it's harder to get out and about.

Did you have to be careful about your diet when you were tapering, did you start eating things you didn't used to?

For some reason I cannot open the link.

Yes I am not eating my best. But the few times I tried to, I swear I cannot take the weight off for the life of me! I had tried intermittent fasting up to 18 hours a day and waking fasted. Then I tried whole food plant based. Walked during that too.

No weight lost.

I will hopefully get back on track with my diet and try more exercise.

This sucks!

Thanks
