March 2019 I was taken off of Valium abruptly. Didn’t know I was in withdrawal and in late November early December last year they pumped me full of Ativan and that it how I learned I was in withdrawal. Learned what kindling was. Learned a lot! 

 

Technically I should be coming up on two years of my last dose but since the hospital and I didn’t know what was causing my pain, I was given more.

 

One whole year I’ve been completely free from benzos!

 

So many wonderful windows. I enjoy my life. I am content with life more now than ever before. This  experience made me appreciate life.

I’m no longer angry at my situation, but learning from it instead.

Congratulations on your victory.  I'm just beginning my benzo free life.  I look forward to being a year out.  It's heartening to hear you are doing well.  Enjoy each new benzo free day.  :yippee: :yippee:  Ginger
