Can I use an inhaler, Albuterol?

I wanted to see if anybody knew whether or not I could use a prescription albuterol inhaler or if it will cause worse symptoms. Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question...but I know albuterol can be stimulating! It may also depend on how many puffs you do too..

What does your doc say?

My doctor was right on this one, she said it won't make my benzo withdrawal worse but it will make my heart speed up and I might feel a little anxious for a few minutes. And so I tried it because it's not a steroid, and it jacked me up a tiny bit but it did not affect my withdrawal whatsoever, which was great.

 

I'm starting to think the only things that really mess with your benzo withdrawal is things that affect your central nervous system, but that's just a speculation.

Thanks, it was worth a shot. I really didn't notice much of a difference with my breathing so maybe it was benzo related and not a breathing problem. I guess by the time this benzo withdrawal is over I will know for sure.
