Taper Timeline Question

I reduced clonazepam from .5 to 0 in 14 months.  My first reduction was huge and way too much.  I ended up holding that for 4 months while I settled down.  So I gained no time in doing that, and the 4 month hold would have been better spent if I had reduced slower. 

 

I reduced between 2 and 15% per reduction from .25 down.  I had some hard times, and held longer up to a month.  Some holds were as little as a week. 

 

It should not take years to taper from less than .25 mgs.  However, follow a symptom based taper.  Not every reduction feels like the one before.  Some were easier and some were harder. 

You can handle 6 months.  It goes fast, really.  I wanted off faster, but following symptoms .. it was what it was.  I am now benzo free, and so will you be
