It looks like you've been off of benzo's for 3 years, have you been to an eye Dr lately to make sure everything is okay?

Hi Pamster, no I wish!

I,m still tapering, on 0.16 from 0.5 K

Is my signature not clear?

I guess I was confused by your CT from Prozac and Paxil.  But just to let you know I had terribly dry eyes when I was recovering from Klonopin so that at least I can confirm is a withdrawal symptom.  I tried drinking more water and using eye drops but nothing seemed to help but finally healing.

This was one of my worst symptoms for the first year off

You have to get off the drugs 100% for healing to take place. But don’t CT

Developed dry eyes in tolerance..  Over time additional symptoms would appear.  Red, teary, itchy, floaters, blurry, flashes, etc, etc.

I'm 21 months off Valium and I am left with dry eyes only, the rest has just about disappeared.

I remember feeling so much pressure that I couldn’t even see straight.

I had an eye doctor check the pressure in my eyes

I couldn’t focus on an object

Everything hurt

I could barely use my phone or anything bright

It hurt so bad

And Advil didn’t help.

It was like deep in my eye sockets

That’s gone now

I've had this terribly. I did all the eye checks too...I couldn't even look at a TV without having to close my eyes. I don't think I got it from benzos but developed when on high dose lyrica for a couple of years. It's brutal and hard to tell where its coming from. Mine improved a bit after 6 months and then I took a rescue dose of lyrica and it came roaring back so I know it's from psych med damage. All these pills are poison.

I have this dry eye problem, too. My ophthalmologist suggested eye drops. I use Systane Balance. It lubricates your eyes so that you can go several hours without using the drops again. Very soothing and helpful. Especially for those of us who do a lot of computer work.

Hope this helps,

Katz.
