how to taper off Lorazepam?

Hi all.I was taking Lorazepam for 8 months 3 times per day x 2.5 mg.

Now I want to taper but my shrink told me I can just discontinue using it which was not a case since I'm having nausea,insomnia,diarrea etc...

Can anyone please tell me what should be my tapper plan?

I noticed you've been a member for awhile, can you tell us if you successfully tapered off of the Bromazepam before starting the Lorazepam and what the timeline has been?  Just trying to figure out how slowly you need to do this, for some the tapers can become more difficult the more times benzo's are discontinued.

Lorazepam comes in a liquid form f you're interested in using it to taper rather than making a home brew or crushing and weighing your pills.
