Dry taper with oral disintegrating tablets - can you crush?

Hi buddies,

 

I saw my provider earlier this week and was prescribed .125mg disintegrating tablets to take. I would like to crush them as I've been wanting to taper by weighing and filling pills. Is it ok to crush them? Has anyone tried with the disintegrating tablets?

Well I am going to try it this week, I’ll let you all know how it goes!

I did some googling and searching the forum when I saw your post yesterday but couldn't find anything useful for you.  I was hesitant to say that I thought there shouldn't be a problem doing that and was hoping others with experience would stop by.  I'm glad you're going to give it a go, please let us know how it works out for you.

I'm curious how this is going for you, as I also have the .125 dissolvable tablets. What kind of scale are you using to measure?

Hi, I actually didn’t get to do this. I saw my provider and he would just prescribe 30 days of 0.125mg, so I can only take one per day. I am seeing how my wds are, so far it is doable...not pleasant, but I am ok.
