Taper

Interested in titration taper of of a 0.5 once daily Xanax taken since June. Was prescribed this after an accident for sleep and anxiety. Never had trouble before the accident, now having trouble since starting medication. Doctor doesn't seem to realize, much less how to correct the problem. Want to come off slow to avoid as much as possible withdrawal symptoms. Suggestions greatly appreciated, thank you!

Before we start down the path of working up a plan for what I'm assuming your talking about, liquid titration, I'd like to inform you about other methods along the same lines. 

 

There is the option of crushing and weighing your dose on a jewelers scale or there is a liquid version available from the manufacturer as well. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov
