[Va...]
I’ve hit a wall with the extreme inner agitation. I have trouble focusing. So much brain pressure. I can however sit still. So it’s 100% internal. I don’t know how to keep tapering. But I must because holding doesn’t offer me any relief. I never stabilize. Any form of akathisia is a terrible thing and it can obviously be life threatening. Any other buddies experience this while trying to taper. If anyone can offer me any information I would be so thankful. I got to get off the Benzo, but I got to keep myself as safe as possible. Edit: Removed disallowed content. [Pa...]
It looks like you've switched benzo's 3 times this year, I don't doubt you're having trouble, did you stabilize at all on the Valium before you started to taper it?
[Va...]
No. I didn’t. I never truly stabilized. That’s a huge issue. I figured I needed to taper to feel better.
[Pa...]
The tapering process for most is painful, as is the time when we the taper is completed, this is when the true healing takes place and can be the most painful for a time. I wonder if you can hold this dose for a few weeks to see if you can get some relief, how long have you held in the past?
