Tapering help From diazepam

Hello everyone. I’m in a bit of a rut. So during the lockdown here in the US I tried cutting super fast in during the 2 months from 20mg of valuim starting January of this year to 5mg. I’ve been holding since May at 5mg of valuim. Pretty terrible exhausting symptoms. I’ve been trying to go lower down to 3mg and I crashed in July because we returned back to work in June. I’m up dosed back to 5mg and trying to hold but it’s still extremely difficult. I think I went too fast for my situation and may consider going back to at least 7.5mg of valuim. So far my taper has lasted about 8 months. Very tired and getting burned out here. Facing a lot of adrenal fatigue no matter what I do. Any advice on what could’ve happened? Or how I should reevaluate my taper? I’m liquid titrating now.
