From 1mg to .25mg of Xanax

I am currently taking .25 milligrams of Xanax White tablet) and can still accurately cut this tablet into halves and then quarters.

I intend to go down the substitute taper route and was wondering at what stage I should convert over to Vallium.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

You can make the cross whenever you would like to, are you currently having trouble with interdose withdrawal, this is the reason most will make the switch.  It looks like you'll most likely need a dose of 5 mgs of Valium, do you have a Dr willing to prescribe it?
