Liquid titration?

Can someone please help me out, I’ve called multiple compounding pharmacies this morning, all of them told me do not mix benzos with any type of alcohol, milk, or water, I wish I could get a straight answer. They say it changes the chemical structure of the medication. Few days ago I just started doing liquid titration with the water, it seems to be working well, I don’t know what to think now.

Here is a link that mentions something called alprazolam Intensol oral concentrate.  Maybe see if your pharmacy is able to furnish this (assuming your prescriber will cooperate).

And here is a link to an alprazolam USP oral suspension compounding method.  A compounding pharmacy should be capable of producing this.

"HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor. Use the dropper provided to carefully measure out the dose and mix it in liquid or soft food (such as applesauce, pudding) just before taking."

 

So you could dilute a measured dose with water to a known concentration, then drink only as much as you need to deliver your target dose.
