Etizolam taper plan

[00...]

Recommended Posts

I've been using etizolam for around 1.5 - 2 months, anywhere from 2-8mg a day and dosing pretty sporadically and randomly throughout the day. My anxiety seems to be at its worst when I first wake up in the mornings and as I'm trying to fall asleep at night. This is my taper plan:

Week 1 = 8am: 0.75mg, 2pm: 0.5mg, 7pm: 0.5mg, and then right before bed around 12am-2am: 0.5mg

Week 2 = 8am: 0.5mg, 2pm: 0.5mg, 7pm: 0.5mg, 12-2am: 0.5mg

Week 3 = 8am: 0.5mg, 2pm: 0.5mg, 7pm: 0.25mg, 12-2am: 0.5mg

Week 4 = 8am: 0.5mg, 2pm: 0.25mg, 7pm: 0.25mg, 12-2am: 0.5mg

Week 5 = 8am: 0.25mg, 2pm: 0.25mg, 7pm: 0.25mg, 12-2am: 0.5mg

Week 6 = 8am: 0.25mg, 2pm: 0.25mg, 7pm: 0.25mg, 12-2am: 0.25mg

After week 6 I'm kinda unsure of what to do as I am using a solution that's 1mg/ml and the dropper measures in 0.25ml increments. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm also wondering if this may be too drawn out for my duration of use?

Thanks for any and all insight. :)

Hello 00northstar.

For your consideration ...

(1) You might find the following post by Colin (founder of BenzoBuddies) about sporadic vs chronic dosing of interest. If I’ve understood him correctly, relatively short-term users should only switch to a chronic dosing regime if they have good reason to do so.

(2) Would it be possible to measure your dose using a 1mL calibrated oral syringe instead of the dropper?

Thank you! The oral syringe is a good idea, I should definitely pick one up. My dosing was daily for these 1.5 - 2 months, by sporadic I mean I would dose randomly through out the day sometimes (rarely) once and other times 6+ times. But because my usage was relatively short, do you think a faster taper would be better?
