daily liquid micro taper plan

Hi!

I was considering a daily liquid micro taper, using an oral solution of clonazepam, for 300 days. However, I am concerned because the drop rate seems to grow too fast. Here it's a link to a worksheet with the taper plan. I would appreciate any comment you might have!

If you want to download it, pls, just use the link

I'm no genius, but after 5 years of going through this process I'd say to go as fast as your body allows you, and no faster. I would never let someone outside of my body develop a taper plan for me. Start slow, see how it goes, hold when you need to. Pretty simple. Make sure you heal faster than you taper. Good luck!

I agree with Ultra2007 — “I would never let someone outside of my body develop a taper plan for me. Start slow, see how it goes ...”

Do you live in a country where an oral solution of clonazepam is available via prescription?

Hi Ultra2007, thanks for you reply.

Certainly, I agree with you. However, in spite of everyone is different, it's always good to learn from other members' experience. I've heard stories about people who couldn't taper using a cut & hold strategy, but who did well with a daily micro taper. Unfortunately, so far, I haven't been able to get the details from these people themselves.

Hi Libertas, thanks for your reply.

Yes, I live in Brazil and Pfizer sells here Rivotril, which is an oral solution of clonazepam. I wish clonazepam were forbidden worldwide.

You are welcome, amf-eric.  Is my understanding correct — you are helping your mother discontinue clonazepam at her request?  If so, hats off to you for doing so.  Thank you for sharing the good news that you live in a country where a prescription oral solution of clonazepam is available so your mother can make accurate reductions in dose.

Thank you very much, Libertas! That's correct. I've been trying to help my mother to taper off of clonazepam. She is also tapering off of duloxetine (but no at

the same time).
