New to the forum and Tapering.

We're glad you're here, can you tell us a little more about your situation?  What benzo are you tapering, what dose are you on now, how long have you been tapering, what method you're using to taper and how long were you on the drug?

 

Other than all of those questions, how are you feeling, are you dealing with symptoms?  If you'd like to connect with others feel free to start a thread on the  Withdrawal Support (during your taper) board, there you'll find others who are tapering as well.

It's good to be in touch. I am Tapering down Restoril (15mg's to 7.5mg's). Last night was my first night at 7.5, I slept well but am really starting to feel a bit unwell over the last few hours. I've been on Restoril for around 3 months and was at 30 mg's, once at night for Insomnia. I stepped down to 15 mg's 0n 04/23 and it didn't feel anything like this.

Congrats on your taper!

Did you reduce from 15 mgs to 7.5 mgs in one cut?  If so, that would be more than we recommend, can you let us know how you're feeling?
