Newbie question about dry micro tapering

Hi I’ve been tapering Valium and im at 3.5mg and been using the cut and hold method. Every was going relatively smooth until I went from 6mg to 5mg then started getting bad withdrawals. My last cut was from 4mg to 3.5mg and I feel like this cut and hold method is just to much for me cause I get hit with withdrawals like a sledge hammer. I bought a scale and after I stabilize (I’m in my 5th day of this cut) I plan on doing a daily dry cut micro taper, going down around 0.003 a day. Has anyone else had a smoother taper doing this? I understand that I will have withdrawals but this cut and holding each time has me almost bed ridden. Any advice or thoughts will be greatly appreciated thank you

I don't have experience but I've heard good things about dry titration.  I know Bob7 used it, but he made doses into capsules.  Bob7 Benzo Dry Taper Method
