Fluoride question

Recommended Posts

I have read multiple times that toothpaste with fluoride in it should be avoided while in withdrawal, but never came across any explenation on why. Can anyone explain? Could using too much fluoride hinder my healing or cause a significant setback?

I've never heard this before, I would say good dental hygiene would be conducive to good health.

Hi, I work in the dental field and to be honest fluoride is not that "essential" it calcifies your pineal gland (that's for sure) and that's why a lot of people avoid it, it's also toxic. But water has it (in the us), toothpaste has it, the prophylactic paste(dental office) has it. So eventually you will get your "recommended" dose by the ADA.

if you can buy toothpaste without fluoride, great.

A good dental hygiene and a good brushing  and flossing technique helps more than fluoride.
