Has anyone seen this video from "The Atlantic" about ICU delirium?

As described from the medical professionals, patients' and patients' family POV.

The delirium is produced as a result of all the medications the medical professionals put the patient on: sedatives, etc. It is nightmare scenario for the patient as they are immobile and tethered to a bed but their minds are still active and processing the info in a delirious state. The PTSD it causes is extremely traumatic.

Looks like symptoms are a mix between the drugs and the trauma of the experience and fear of death.

When got off the first time I had stuff  very like that. Know I am headed back there.

I think it is terror and WD that causes it for me because muscle stuff so bad can’t see any other option than to kill myself but terrified and grief-stricken. Extreme PTSD while still being re-traumatised  every day.
