[pi...] Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Are you referring to dental anesthesia? Lidocaine alone does not contain epinephrine, it is just a numbing agent. When used in dental anesthesia epi can be added to make the numbing last longer and decrease bleeding. I have always been sensitive to epi, even before benzos, so I have all my dental work done with carbocaine.
