Because of what is happening, Dr's are prescribing even more Benzos.

Oh boy. When it rains...

 

I just heard on the news that Dr's are casually prescribing benzos left & right to anyone who ask for them because of coronavirus. It's outrageous and a recipe for disaster, imo.

I read there has been a 34% increase in benzodiazapine prescriptions, you're right, a disaster in the making for too many who don't know the price they may pay.

 

Part of this is probably because so many are being intubated. 

But this could be to some of people like us who are tapering or scared of drug shortages trying to stock up for their taper. It may not be to new uninformed people.

If I only knew about the damage benzos cause and had this forum to advised me, how incredibly different this present situation would be...
