Help

I have been off of Benzos for about 18 months now. I was slowly getting better I came down with the flu about 2 weeks ago and it threw me back into acute. I’m thinking about starting Zoloft to see if that may help. Any fees back would be great.

What do you expect from Zoloft?

Have you taken AD before?

I'd wait out your symptoms before starting another medication, that might just add more trouble to your already sensitized central nervous system. 

Let the flu pass.  Let the symptoms pass.  Do a lot of self care.  I’m unsure how ad will help?  Do you feel you’re depressed?

An infection, the flu, any illness - its normal to feel worse then. If you add a new medication this would just be a second burden it has to process. Right now, its fixing the flu-thing.. give yourself time to recover and (as I said in withdrawal) to crawl back on the shitty baseline. And then continue with your taper as planned. This would be my advice.. chin up!
