Hello ampersand,

 

Do you have anything to add to your post, a personal experience you wish to share with other members?  I see you've been benzo free for quite some time, so I would imagine you've found what has worked and what hasn't.

1. Don't worry about not sleeping.  Not sleeping is better than addiction.

2. Realize that the horrible w/d symptoms are only symptoms.  You will recover in time. 

3. Don't reinstate.  This is just the power of the addiction telling you to do so.

4. No one can really do it for you, so stop whining.

5. Get off the pills so you can get off BB also.  BB is better than addiction, but has its own addictive qualities!

6. People trust pills too much.  Learn to be well without pills.

 

My 2 cents for today.  Tomorrow, I might change my mind!  :laugh:
