Do beta blockers help with anxiety attacks

Like to know if beta blockers work with severe  anxiety

And if they do should take them fault or just when anxiety  becomes too severe

You may find that propranolol helps lower heart rate and settles the body down. I've even read about people taking them as needed only. You will, however, need to taper the pill once it's not needed. I'd read others' experiences with it on BB if I were you before being prescribed.
