1ml of 40 proof alcohol should be sufficient to dissolve .5mg of clonazepam. To that add 5ml of water to get a solution that equals .10mg per ml.

A good place to start would be reducing 10% of your current dose over 14 days. From .5mg that would be .05mg or .003mg per day.

Click here for a program that will help you create a taper plan.

The calculator will figure this all out for you. Give it a shot

Thank you for your help

Looked at the calculator but do not totally understand how it works as I thought I had to drop one pill in 1ml vodka than add water to it " how many ml) and then day my reduce  1ml

That would be with 300 ml  30 ml per months is 10%

Or should I go for 200 ml than it would be  more than.  10 %

A month

Just wondering if 10%every 2 weeks would be to quick

By the way I am bad in calculations

You are welcome

The way the calculator works is you put your information in the appropriate line then the calculator will tell you the ratio of benzo to liquid you are making and give you the daily reduction amount based on the info you provide. To accurately reduce the given amount it is necessary to use syringes (1ml/10ml syringes).

How to make a 1mg=10ml solution:

1) Put 1ml 40% alcohol in appropriate container

2) Add 1mg of klonopin

3) Add 9ml of distilled water

How to make daily reductions based on 10% reduction every 14 days:

If your start dose is .5mg

Day 1 - Take 4.96ml

Day 2 - Take 4.93ml

Day 3 - Take 4.89ml

Day 4 - Take 4.85ml

Day 5 - Take 4.82ml

Etc.

Use 1ml & 10ml syringes like these

Check out

videos on YouTube. There are 3 videos in which he explains the entire tapering process he went through while coming off clonazepam. He starting at 1mg/day and did a liquid taper. He also links to a spreadsheet you can download that allows you to enter your numbers and all the calculations are done for you. The spreadsheet link is just below the video, just click "show more" in the description to find it.

The spreadsheet is available for excel, google docs and libreoffice Calc (ods format) among others.

It's what I am doing starting Mar 1st. Only difference is he does his daily titration reductions by 0.5ml per day. I have decided to go slower at 0.3ml/day. Everyone says go slow.

I'm trying to come off of 0.25mg/day of clonazepam and according to that spreadsheet it's going to take me about 7.5 months. The benzo calculator says about 8 months. So they are inline with each other and that is my plan. It might take me a little longer if I experience withdrawal and need to slow down.
