0.125 xanax to liquid valium

Has anyone switched from 0.125mg (half .25 mg tablet) to liquid to pill form diazepam?

If so, can you please tell me what the equivalent dose would be?

I have had severe lower spine, back, leg nerve pain since I started tapering xanax as I think I have been going too fast so I would like to know what dose of valium I should stabilize on before making further reductions.

The rough equivalent would be 2.5mg of valium since the xanax is roughly 20 times more potent for conversion purposes as listed in the Ashton manual.
