1mg klonopin - How long can it last in a Suspension?

My plan is to liquid taper from 1mg of Klonopin. Instead of having to prepare the suspension every day with 1mg tablet could i just use 10mgs of tablets and dissolve that in a suspension and just dose that for several days? Would the suspension degrade and potency over a few days? Anyone have experience with making bigger batches for efficiency?

I'll plan on dosing 2x a day

What would be the best suspension Ora-care? Vodka?

how much suspension for 1 mg / 10mg

Hello, Superfly TNT.  Tip of the hat to you for recognizing that stability is an important factor to consider when using a liquid to taper!  I’ve read about multiple members who used (or are using) clonazepam oral suspensions to taper.  Most of them used/are using a compounding pharmacy.  Is this an option for you?  If not, we have at least one current member who is making his own suspension so let’s hope he stops by to share his approach.  (If I’m remembering right, he uses OraPlus for the suspending agent and a combination of regular tablets and liquid.) I’ve included two links below you might find of interest. Libertas
