Need info on how to reduce by 5-10% for klonopin taper.

Looking to use a scale to taper down but I am not sure exactly how to go about doing this. Get an average of 10 pills weight then reduce 5-10 percent using math? Do I reduce again from that dosage? Or the original dosage? How long should I hold each cut?
