AD and healing

My doctor put me on 30 mg Remeron at the end of my taper, I wish I wasnt on anything but he said It would help. I am 14 months off and feeling pretty good. I wonder if being on a AD will prevent total healing ?

We know alcohol and benzodiazepines will delay and/or prevent healing but other than those two, there is no evidence I’m aware of that any other substance prevents healing.

 

Lots of things might make you feel like you’re not healing (stress for one)... they cause symptoms, but don’t actually hurt your healing timeline.

Thank you , If I didn't have this feeling like i'm about to go insane every so often I could almost say I was healed.
