BiPolar Diagnosis

I have been Benso, Effexor and Lamictal free for 2 months.  Last week I put a detailed letter together and presented it to my shrink (who washed his hands of me when I decided to taper off drugs), stating that I do not believe I am Bipolar four with a Hyperthymic temperament and why.  He read my letter and asked to meet with me.....AND he agrees with me and has rescinded my diagnosis.  All my medical records have been reversed and I start my new drug free life without this false diagnosis.  I feel so liberated that when I listened to my inner voice it told me the truth of who I was.  I feel so very thankful!

WOW, this is great news. SO happy for you. It's rare that we get medical validation. So proud of you for standing up and speaking your truth in the face of that. You are amazing.
