Is akathisia curable?

It is a symptom of withdrawal.  I have it and it is bad at times but it fades away as TIME passes.  I wish it was something there was a pill for but there is not.

only more benzos, anti-epileptics and anti-psychotics.. but you're not really getting out of mud with many of these. there for extreme emergencies

Try researching the low glutamate diet (cutting out all processed foods, dairy, gluten, soy and corn products) and sticking to whole foods. I've only been on it for a week and feel so much better already after being in protracted withdrawal for over 3 years now, severe anxiety and akathisia. It may not work for everyone but it's worth a try.
