Hello,

We know that benzo's change your microbiome, so when you stop the benzo does your gut microbiome return to normal?

Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Will the gut heal on its own?

a lot of us suffer immense gut changes during benzo withdrawal. It's just one of those things.. A lot of benzo receptors are located throughout the intestines and are therefore negatively effected by withdrawal.. These weird symptoms will disappear eventually..

My gut and digestion were f e on benzo for 20 years. WD has destroyed it all. Now have to take laxitive everyday and diet is a mess.
