How do we convince ourselves these symptoms are withdrawal and not MS, or CSF leak, or heart problems, brain tumor,

etc......

I used to read the symptom list in chapter 3 of the Ashton manual, I spent a lot of time doing that to reassure myself.

I creep on this site a lot to see I’m not alone

I spend way to much time worrying if I have Lyme or need to have my mercury fillings removed. The symptoms cross into many other things as you point out. That Razor theory helps- if it happened while on or lowering doses, it's probably that.

 

Still, you can get testing to ease your mind- just avoid things IN testing that can set you back- metal contrast dye, anesthetic, etc.
