Stuck, polydrugged, chronic akathisia, regular adverse reaction to Klonopin

After 30 months of akathisia and severe wds initiated by several cold turkeys, and 18 months of that trying to get off reinstated 5mg lexapro, I don’t know what to do next.

 

I was PUT ON Klonopin due to severity of akathisia but it often gives me severe adverse reactions when I dose, it’s horrifying. But I also ‘need it’ because of akathisia which it barely covers when it’s most severe when I cut the ssri.

 

At the rate I’m going, it’ll take me 2 more years to get off the rest of the lexapro 2.62mgs whilst being stuck on 0.78 Klonopin the whole time.

 

Do I swap to taper the benzo?

I’ve had zero life since summer 2017, housebound and acute.

 

I hate my non life.

I want to be free of drugs.

Akathisia and mental symptoms are horrific. Moreso when I get adverse reaction or make even a small cut.
