Gabapentin please just want input no horror.

I am prescribed 600mg of Gabapentin daily.  I just talked to doc and he said taper 1 pill every 4 to 6 weeks.  Has anyone done so with little problems.

I took 300mg (occasionally 600mg), and had no problem whatsoever stopping. 

I took 900 mg a day for several years, 3 x 300 mg a day. I tapered by removing 1 pill a day every week til I got down to nothing. No issue.

I was once on 2300 mgs of gabapentin. I reduced it to 900 mgs with big drops, then tapered from 900 to zero by dropping 100 mgs a month. It took a while but I did not suffer from it the way I suffered from my benzo taper.
