Glutamate, Muscles, Statins and Vit.E

It is fact that Statin drugs cause muscle pain in some people. "Muscle cells treated with statins release the amino acid glutamate at a much higher level" Researchers have recently found that "Administering anti-oxidants such as Vit. E were successful in reducing glutamate release"  published Oct.15th 2019 in the American Journal of Physiology-Cell Physiology.

Can anyone explain in lay terms how Benzos effect glutamate and muscle cells??

Thank you.
