Promethazine DM Syrup

Hi

Saw a doctor today for sinus/throat issues. Felt like was confusing these symptoms with withdrawal.

Provided antibiotic (not the dangerous one) and two other medications.

Surprised pharmacy system did not flag--the Promethazine DM syrup as having potential to further sedate one on benzos.

Likely not a big deal if not tapering.

It is for cough/allergies.

So, will just refrigerate and use if necessary down the road.

Anyone used this med. while tapering?
