Lexapro/escitalopram

Have you taken this after being off a benzo?

I’m 11.5 mos. out.

Bump.

I know the dangers of this after d/c a benzo.

I’m scared.

Depression, anxiety, irritability are out of control. I’m afraid I’m going to lose my job over this. I’m out of sick time.

I have to work. I do not have a choice.

I've taken Lexapro for years (I was on Celexa before Lexapro came on the market). It has been very good for me - I call it my "brain vitamin."

I'm sorry to hear that you are suffering. For me, taking an SSRI was the right choice.
