Ativan to Valium Unstable

I am completely unstable, having horrible symptoms and am getting adverse reactions to Ativan. I’m currently taking .35mg of Ativan. Can I just crossover to 3.5mg of Valium directly? I really really need relief.

Yes!  I would.  But can you see a Benzo literate doctor?  My crossover was easy.

I have taken Ativan before here and there.  It wears off pretty fast. 

Ativan has a short half life effect in the body- the Ashton Manuel will say in the crossover chart. 

Valium has a much longer half life... from 50 to 200 hours. 

So your taper should be smoother.  At least mine is.

That said, I think at some point, no matter what Benzo you taper off,  its going to get really challenging.   

I also crossed over directly, over just a coup of days, and found valium much easier on the whole withdrawal process.
