Last night I took 50 mg. There was no sedation. 2 hours later I was in total anxiety which is just now subsiding.1pm.  I am in a bad wave after crashing. Updosed 2 weeks today. Has this drug done this to anyone?

It's because vistaril is an antihistamine. They can have paradoxical effects and cause anxiety instead of making you sleepy. This happens to me on All antihistamines. Happens to a lot of kids too, they get amped up on benedryl.
