Builder: Math Help Please

Hi Builder,

I am helping a buddy who struggles with math.  I took my best stab at doing the calculations for her. Would you mind double checking my results?

-Her current Lorazepam dose is .2175 mgs

-She is using a a solution of 0.5tablet + 1ml vodka + 49ml water = 50ml liquid (.01mg/ml concentration).

-She wants to know many mls she would need to reduce daily to reach .05mg in six months. 

I came up with a .09ml daily reduction.  Please let me know if you want to see my calculations.

Hi again,

I was able to double check my result of .09ml by calculating it in another way:

.09ml x 180(days) = 16.2ml

21.75ml - 16.2ml = 5.55ml

5.55ml = .05mg. (END DOSE)

Hopefully all this math is helping my brain!
