I'd like to know if adding spices, tomato sauce, or any other sauces to my cooked food can Rev up my symptoms... I used to eat anything with no trouble. But some times after meals I feel awful. Anyone with advise on this, please.

I have to restrict to salt and oil only for cooking. Pepper, especially tomato sauce is very high in glutamate. Also anything from packaged products like chicken broth contains msg. Its best to avoid anything processed outside of home. Gluten is a big no for me too.

I’ve had to cut all spices, herbs etc and definitely tomato sauce which is high in glutamate.

 

Most food tastes, smells, looks and feels repulsive in my mouth now anyway.

 

On the other hand I can’t stop eating biscuits.

I used to love to eat out, but no more. Most of the restaurants used a lot of MSG and that makes me feel horrible. I eat at places where I know it is not used. I can totally feel a difference in my brain and my gut.

Just the act of eating anything revs me up, it's as though the effort my body expends to gigest the food puts everything into overdrive.
