Guest [Fa...]
Does anyone else find distraction impossible because their mental or physical symptoms are too powerful and overwhelming?
[Ma...]
At first I could not distract. It was an attempt to distract. Anything was an attempt. Attempt to nap, attempt to walk... horrible. Today I can see that it was like re-leraning to swim or ride a bike for my brain... I had to do things a lot before I felt I really could do them (with my brain).. [Pt...]
Only things that actively engage my brain works, like playing interactive games, watching tv and crochet at the same time. It's very tiring
[CH...]
Watch TV. I'm sorry you aren't better yet. Hang in there. Everything I have read you will get better. You cold turkeyed and it appears it takes longer. I find that the television helps me alot. When I wake up in the middle of the night I turn it on and am able to fall asleep quickly. If not, I start thinking about my problems that I never had before my tapering began. I just thought I took a sleeping pill. I couldn't stay asleep. Now, I have to go through this. It's annoying but not that bad at all compared what others are going through.
